I’m Taylor St Clair and I’ve been in the lighting business since 1997, when I worked in the sales department of Georgia Lighting. I learned how to hand-sketch lighting designs under the tutelage of an original lighting guru. After learning about the industry over the next few years, I realized there was a need I could fill by providing clients a more intimate customer service, so in 2006, I started my own business specializing in lighting design and projects. After 9 years, my first creation began to switch gears, and in 2015 I moved on to create Lighting Technology Design to focus on a more high-end project oriented business.
Color tuning technology allows LTD.guru lighting designers to create your overall lighting schemes temperature, warmth, brightness and at the same time provide energy efficiency, for your comfort and well-being. The color of the LED light being controlled can be modified to create a variety of environments. There are three predominant color tuning techniques, methods, and solutions on how to achieve the right environment for your space.
At Lighting Technology Design, or LTD, as we like to call it, we use our knowledge, skill and experience to design lighting solutions for your home or project from the first drawing and design consultation to the last electrical installation. We work closely with designers, architects, builders, construction teams and homeowners to find efficient and attractive lighting options.
We use four words to describe the services we offer: Design, Specify, Provide and Manage. This is our process and our promise. We will meet for a one on one consultation to discuss your needs and wishes, and how we can best meet them by allowing you to experience a variety of options in person, in our North Atlanta showroom conveniently located where 285 and 75 meet. We lay out the most efficient and attractive options on a copy of your project’s actual architectural blueprints, so you can visualize immediately the locations of your fixtures as well as their connections and the systems that power them. This also provides a visual map to put the homeowner on the same page as the installer as far as design expectations; Our drawings will match as closely as possible to the final product.
Based on the homeowner’s needs and wishes we specify the right product mix and create a bill of materials for the builder. We then provide the builder and installer with those products as we continue to oversee the project to most easily facilitate matching each piece to each location in the home, ensuring the integrity of the design… up until the last item is installed.
We work with a variety of manufacturers to deliver the best value to our customers. In addition to LEDs, dimmers, keypads, and more lighting products, we also design and sell hardware.
